Sony Discontinuing PlayStation Now on PS3, Vita
Heads upwards, PlayStation At present users: The list of devices that work with the game-streaming subscription service is shrinking.
Sony will be discontinuing PlayStation Now on a number of devices on Aug. fifteen. That includes the PS3, PS Vita, and PS Tv set; all 2022, 2022, and 2022 Sony Bravia Television set models; all Sony Blu-ray player models; and all Samsung TV models. Plus, the service will end on 2022 models of Sony Bravia TVs on April 1 2022.
"After thoughtful consideration, nosotros decided to shift our focus and resources to PS4 and Windows PC to further develop and meliorate the user experience on these ii devices," PS Now Senior Marketing Manager Brian Dunn wrote in a blogpost. "This move puts us in the best position to abound the service even further."
If you use any of the devices listed above and want to discontinue your subscription, make sure to disable machine-renewal in your account settings.
Sony introduced PS Now subscriptions in January 2022 on the PlayStation 4, earlier expanding to the PS3, Samsung Smart TVs, the PS Vita and PS TV, and some 2022 Sony TVs. The visitor in August brought it to Windows PCs.
