Creating a New Notebook

In Windows:

  1. In the Sidebar, click on the arrow to the left ofNotebooks. The Notebook List will be displayed.
  2. Right-click on Business and select Create Business Notebook.
  3. Enter a name for your new notebook and click OK.

In Mac OS X:

  1. In the sidebar, click on Notebooks. All of your notebooks will be displayed in the window on the right.
  2. Click on the dropdown arrow next to the + New Notebook button near the top of the window and select Business Notebook.
  3. Enter a name for your new notebook and click OK.

NOTE: Please do not attempt to rename notebooks in Evernote because it will only rename in your account, not the entire Business Library.

IMPORTANT: When a new notebook is created, it is only available to the user that created it. In order to make a notebook available to the CLRG group, the notebook must be shared.

In Windows:

  1. In the Sidebar, click on the arrow to the left ofNotebooks. The Notebook List will be displayed.
  2. Right-click on the notebook you wish to share and click Share. Evernote will then go through the process of Synchronizing notes, which may take several minutes.
  3. After the Synchronization process is complete, the Sharing dialog box will appear. Choose Publish to Business Library.
  4. In the next box, select the sharing permissions (we recommend Modify), enter a Notebook Description, and click Publish.
  5. The next box will display a summary of the notebook. Select Done and you are finished.

In Mac OS X

  1. In the sidebar, click on Notebooks. All of your notebooks will be displayed in the window on the right.
  2. Right-click on the notebook that you wish to share and click Share Notebook… This will open the Sharing dialog box, in which you select Publish to Business Library.
  3. In the next box, select the sharing permissions (we recommend Modify), enter a Notebook Description, and click Publish.
  4. After the synchronization process is complete, a summary of the notebook's sharing preferences will be displayed. Select Dismiss and you are finished.
