We have only had this refrigerator for about a month now. Having been focused on a different brand, we had to settle with this one... but we aren't sad we did. First off, this fridge maximizes space better than ANY we have seen. Since we got the counter depth one, that was critical. The 4th pullout drawer is convertible and very useful. The ice and water dispenser work well, although I wish it had a larger ice bin, but here are pros and cons to that. The bottom freezer drawer seems a little uneven but still seals well. Everything seems sturdy enough. As far as counter depth fridges go, this is a beast and as big as one would go .

One of the best features of this fridge is the flexible middle drawer, which can be another freezer, or hold meat or cold drinks. Very sleek water/ice feature where it looks attractive. Would recommend to anyone!

Ice Maker Issues

We purchased this refrigerator in September of 2019. Thank goodness we also purchased a Protection Plan. Ice was forming inside the refrigerator in the crevice around the ice maker. We were told that a seal was not there. One needed to be ordered and installed. We were also having problems with the ice maker not dispensing ice. The motor would work but the ice would not come out. The repair person adjusted the water flow and said that most likely putting in the seal would help this. (It didn't). We called again. The ice was too large to come out. The repair person could not locate the problem. My husband suggested he call a Frigidaire Rep and ask them. The repair person was told their had been a recall because the board was bad and would cause a problem with the amount of water being released. I registered this product with Frigidaire. Why weren't we notified there was a problem? Why weren't repair people made aware of the problem?

My family and I are loving our new Frigidaire French Door refrigerator. It truly is a counter depth appliance that fits snugly in place without sticking out in the kitchen pathway. There is ample room inside for weekly groceries for our family of 7. I love being able to control different areas of the appliance for different needs, depending on what I am storing. I was a bit concerned that the way the freezer was designed with separate compartments would give me less space, but I actually feel like I have more space than anticipated. The favorite feature of the fridge for the family however is the ice/water dispenser which allows for ™€œthe good ice™€ which is crushed ice according to my kids. I would highly recommend this refrigerator.

Smaller in cubic feet than my last refrigerator, but I feel like I get just as much in it. The Custom Flex Temp Drawer is a great feature and depending on what arises, I can switch it from a freezer drawer to a refrigerator drawer with multiple settings.

We love the looks of the refrigerator! The Middle drawer is great used for extra room or, as we use it, a freezer. I keep I™€™ve cream there so our great grandson can get to it without messing everything up. They also love the snack drawers. We love the counter-depth. With a kitchen island it gives us more room in our kitchen.

We were needing a new Fridge and with everyone talking about it taking so long to get appliances with the shipping problems we grabbed one when we found what I thought I wanted. I love the idea of the drawer and there is decent room in it. The snack trays are worthless and you can't get anything with any size or depth in them. I wasn't aware of how much depth I would lose with a Counter depth but that is on me. My biggest disappointment is the ice maker and water dispenser. We have a well and we did not have any problem with our last fridge but this one does not make very much ice or dispense very much water. After 3 days of no use the ice dispenser is only half full and if we use just a little bit of ice for a couple of days we run out. We don't use the water dispenser because we need it to go to the icemaker. We are just very upset and dissatisfied but I guess it will have to do. Did not want to wait 6-9 or 12 months for a new fridge. I guess we got what we paid for. Also, the french doors do not open wide enough to pull out the ice holder. You really have to jockey it around to get it out which means if you do it very much it will probably break very quickly. At this point in time I would not recommend this fridge which out doing a lot more research on it than we did.

We love the look of our new refrigerator. yet it is truly the most functional one that we have owned in our 53 years of marriage. It is functional and versatile. Easy to organize our items, makes everything easy to find. The various temperature settings for different compartments is ingenuous. Even though there are additional shelving slots that imply you can move the shelves, you can't. The shelves only fit one way. There is no place to put a gallon of milk except the door. We had to remove a shelf in order to fit the milk, bottle of wine and a 2 litter bottle of soda. leaving us with very little room for anything else. We are only a family of 2 and this refrigerator is very impractical.

The unit is smudge free, something I didn™€™t think was possible with Stainless steel. Ice maker works great with no issues so far. Freezer draws are deep and holds a lot. The uneven French doors took a little getting used too. The flex drawer is huge and holds a lot of soda cans and cold cuts.

We are very happy with our choice on this refrigerator! Our main concern was how reliable would this one be? Our last one was a 15-yr Maytag & was still working, but as it was a side-by-side, it didn't hold as much and the front buttons for the water and ice were worn out and no parts were available. After looking at available models and seeing some class action lawsuits and/or lousy repair records, I called a few appliance repair shops. They told me to avoid linear compressors such as the ones used in Samsung & LG refrigerators. They all said Frigidaire was the most reliable. It is also quite stunning. Not a fan of stainless steel but this one won me over. Fingerprint resistant. Excellent lighting, Love the middle drawer and so easy to find our leftovers now. I even like the ice cubes as they are small and round fitting in the glass better than the large, square cubes. Lastly, the price was comparable to all the other brands making this an easy choice. If there was any downside it would be that the water/ice panel does not light up showing all the options.

The manual is easy to understand and the counter-depth gives more room in the kitchen. Love the ease of being able to move the shelves and slide them to increase height availability. The middle drawer gives flexibility to go from extra freezing space to beverages with four options. It looks nice and even has prep features to adjust the temperatures when arriving home from the grocery store; even has a Sabbath mode. Well lit and little snack storage bins. First time Frigidaire owner.

We really are enjoying this new upgrade to our kitchen. Having the flex drawer is life changing and organizationally the whole fridge is very customizable. I did read some reviews that indicated some weird quirks and so far we only experienced one of them. I opened the freezer door and then opened the flex drawer immediately after and the fridge shut off and then restarted indicating a power outage. This is something I read about in a few other people reviews. So far it has only happened once and isn™€™t overly concerning™€¦ but it did happen. I purchased the extended warranty plan from Lowes to ensure if there are any COVID related production or quality issues that we will be covered. Peace of mind™€¦All-in-all™€¦ we really like this fridge.
